We’re back, with a brand new episode! From now on we’re aiming to release on a bi-weekly basis, even if it means doing slightly shorter and/or less involved episodes.
In this episode we talk to Senator Kate Lundy, and her senior policy advisor Pia Waugh (who’s also well known in the Australian and International free-and-open-source-software community).
We should note that Senator Lundy’s comments about the Clean Feed were made before the report was released and the government’s plan to propose legislation on the matter announced; she has reviewed her position in response to input from the technical community and you should really read her blog post on the matter! She’s got some very well informed and well considered points put forward on this issue.
And a personal apology from me — there’s a few places in this episode where I pronounce my ‘p’s into the microphone a little too emphatically; I’ll try to do better in the future!
Thanks again to Senator Lundy and Pia Waugh for taking the time to talk to us.
